Uber Eats - The Feng Shui of Food
People’s passion for food and food delivery was a focal point for our efforts in Asia-Pacific with Uber Eats. Specifically our work revolved around Hong Kong and Taipei in the lead up to the Lunar New Year. Chinese New Year is tightly linked to Feng Shui to help create a smooth year ahead. We collaborated with noted Chinese Astrologer Master Poon to create Uber Eats Feng Shui of Food, an astrological look at what the year ahead might look like and what exclusive food tips could boost luck in the Year of the Rat.
We designed a beautiful interactive table with hidden astrological treasures filled with a lucky seasonal feast for the eyes and tastebuds to be discovered as part of the Uber Eats app.
Uber Eats Feng Shui of Food revealed the fortune of all 12 Chinese Zodiacs in 2020, taking a closer look into what type of food could boost your fortune in health, relationship, career and wealth.

Uber Eats Xx Global Celebration
Optimist partnered with Uber Eats to conceptualise, design and produce a multi-city, all-day learning and dining experience for Uber Eats’ team members and their regional business partners across North America, Canada and Asia-Pacific. We collaborated with regional teams and external partners to develop content and programming inclusive of leadership keynotes, peer-to-peer learning sessions and fireside chats with innovative leaders in the food industry. The Optimist team traveled to each activation city to oversee creative development, production planning and execution. While San Francisco, Chicago, New York, New Delhi, Tokyo and Sydney shared a consistent creative framework, the tactical execution was localised and grounded in the local community, culture, and cuisines that inspired it.
